The big timecode is the phone's last position plus the age of the message, advancing on this window's own clock; the phone's sync offset is already inside it. The video seeks when it is more than 0.4 s away from that and otherwise nudges its speed by up to ten percent. Compare its burned-in timecode with the room's video by eye; the drift line is the same comparison in numbers. If the phone's messages stop, this video keeps running from the last position (NO SIGNAL); it stops only when the phone says it stopped listening.
